Important information about fraudulent Red Cross / Red Crescent websites and e-mails


There are a number of fraudulent websites using the Red Cross and Red Crescent names and/or emblems to solicit donations for the victims of conflict or natural disaster. There are also fraudulent e-mails in circulation that invite people to pay for false employment or training opportunities or for attendance at "conferences".

If you receive any unsolicited emails that look suspicious, please treat them with caution. Only information found on the ICRC website, www.icrc.org, is valid. In case of any doubt, do not hesitate to write to us:
