Documentary collections stored in the ICRC archives are to be found under index number V. They are generally accessible to the public.
The largest collections consist of the ICRC's audiovisual archives: V F, Film, since 1920; V P, Photo, since 1940; and V.S, Sound, since 1951. The only inventory to have been completed is that of the iconographic collections, V CI. Historic manuscripts, research instruments, etc are also filed in collection V.
