Crimea: People from eastern Ukraine receive food and other essentials

Many residents of eastern Ukraine who fled their homes because of the fighting have found temporary refuge in Crimea. Some have only what they could carry. These people need the most basic things: food, hygiene products, winter clothing and bedlinen.

Working together with the Crimean and Sevastopol branches of the Red Cross, the ICRC is helping people who cannot currently return to their homes. Some 9,000 people will be receiving aid each month, via 22 distribution points across the Crimean Peninsula.
