At the end of November 2011, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement hosted its first-ever TEDx event, called TEDxRC². It was an overwhelming success with more than 550 participants in Geneva and a worldwide webcast audience. During the event, seven remarkable speakers and two amazing performers shared their thoughts and ideas for multiplying the power of humanity. One of them was Alberto Cairo.

TED – the global non-profit organization devoted to "Ideas Worth Spreading" – has selected Alberto's talk as their last published talk of 2011. Discover Alberto's moving message about listening to others and his wish for disabled people everywhere at www.ted.com.
