Yemen: The conflict continues ... the cost rises

The conflict in Yemen is causing immense suffering.

Thousands of people have been killed, hundreds of thousands more have been forced to flee their homes. There have been attacks on medical facilities and personnel. Civilian infrastructure has been severely damaged. And the conflict continues.

THE COST OF CONFLICT

3,800 people killed since March.

19,000 people wounded.

1.3 million displaced from their homes.

The laws of war must be respected. There must be free movement of goods into and across the country. Deliveries of food water and medicine should be facilitated.

The scale of the humanitarian problem in Yemen cannot be ignored any longer.
