Bangladesh: Helping communities regain their livelihoods

Communities and families in the Khagrachari, Bandarban and Rangamati districts of Chittagong Hill Tracts, in southern Bangladesh have been struggling to sustain their livelihoods. Since mid-2014, the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) and ICRC's economic security programme has been helping these vulnerable families and communities to regain their capacity to cover their essential needs with dignity.
