Helping people displaced by the Ukraine conflict

Many people have had to flee their homes because of the conflict in Ukraine. The ICRC is helping them, working in cooperation with local Red Cross branches and local authorities.

From January to June 2016:

54,000 people displaced from Ukraine to southern Russia received food and other essential items

60,000 vulnerable people in Crimea and Sevastopol who have been displaced by the conflict received food and other essential items

6,500 Ukrainian refugees in Belarus received vouchers allowing them to buy food and other essential items
