The ICRC appeals for 2.1 billion Swiss francs for its operations in 2024
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is appealing for 2.1 billion Swiss francs to help it bring humanitarian protection and assistance to millions of people affected by armed conflict and other situations of violence in 2024.
Established in 1863, the ICRC works in over 100 countries around the world.
Its global appeal consists of 1.9 billion Swiss francs (CHF) for its field operations and 244 million CHF for its headquarters.
