ICRC does not issue COVID-19 vaccination exemption cards

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) does not issue or endorse any type of vaccine exemption card. The use of ICRC's name and logo on such illegitimate cards (shown below) represents a clear misuse of a protected name and logo. And we condemn such misuse.

We are working to facilitate access to COVID-19 vaccines for people affected by armed conflict and violence around the world. And we are committed to providing people with information based on evidence about COVID-19 vaccines so they can make informed choices.

ICRC's name and logo should only be used to indicate our neutral, independent, and impartial humanitarian work around the world to help victims of armed conflict in line with the Geneva Conventions. We do not provide legal cover to those who do not wish to be vaccinated.
