Libya: ICRC Flood Response (October)
On September 10, Eastern Libya experienced the devastating impact of Storm Daniel, resulting in severe damage to multiple cities.
Derna, Sousa, Taknes, Al-Bayda, Al-Marj, Massah, and Gandula Shahat were particularly hard-hit by the storm. In light of the flooding and its aftermath, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is actively collaborating with its partner, the Libyan Red Crescent (LRCS), to provide assistance and address the pressing humanitarian needs in the affected regions.
