Zimbabwe: The Missing | "She'd never leave her son behind"

"The Missing" is a documentary series produced by NBC Left Field together with the ICRC.

Matthew Cassel, an independent filmmaker, spent one year traveling with the ICRC to capture the stories of people who went missing after leaving home in search of a better life.

These stories are told through the eyes of the famlies who these migrants left behind.

They speak to us about the pain and suffering that the families endure as they continue to search for missing relatives.

This is part one of a series of films shot in Zimbabwe, Honduras, Lebanon, Senegal and Sri Lanka.
