The ICRC has been improving sanitation and water supply in Aurora Jail, working with the provincial government of Aurora.
We've been been visiting the inmates of Aurora Provincial Jail since 1992 and maintaining a dialogue with the authorities there. The aim is to ensure that all inmates are being treated humanely and living in decent conditions.
Located in the eastern part of Central Luzon, Aurora has seen a steady increase in population over the years.
