When emergencies occur, the South Sudan Red Cross (SSRC) is one of the first to respond to the needs of the people affected. SSRC volunteers are often on the scene of the emergency within minutes, providing first aid or responding to other humanitarian needs. Simulated exercises help them prepare for the worst of realities.
