More than 1.5 million people have been displaced by the ongoing conflict in Yemen.
ICRC distributed food, hygiene and household items to 35,000 people in Al-Hashwah and Sahar districts of Saada, in north Yemen.
Apart from the fighting, tough restrictions on the movement of goods into the country as well as across provinces and cities have made it nearly impossible for most Yemenis to make ends meet.
Since the conflict broke out in March, over 2.2 million Yemenis have received help from the ICRC and the Yemen Red Crescent. We have arranged food, water and health care for people in the most severely affected parts of the country.
