The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement has partnered with Facebook to encourage a continued vigilance against COVID-19 through a virtual festival dubbed #AfricaTogether.
The event will run on June 4 in English and 5 in French and will feature performing artists such as Aramide, Ayo, Femi Kuti, Ferre Gola, Salatiel, Serge Beynaud, Youssou N'dour, and many others. This festival is a digital awareness campaign that will focus on prevention messages developed by Red Cross and Red Crescent health experts.
