The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) works worldwide to provide humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflict and armed violence. We take action in response to emergencies and at the same time promote respect for international humanitarian law. We are an independent and neutral organisation, and our mandate stems essentially from the Geneva Conventions of 1949. We work closely with National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and with their International Federation in order to ensure a concerted, rational and rapid humanitarian response to the needs of the victims of armed conflict or any other situation of internal violence. We direct and coordinate the international activities conducted in these situations.

  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and perform regular recruitment trend analysis.
  • Master using our HRIS (Success Factors) recruitment module and other relevant tools.
  • Support the employer branding and act as a Digital Ambassador of the ICRC on platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • Participate and lead as assigned on development work and project streams across the HR Division.

Your education and previous experience

  • University degree or equivalent in human resources or business administration.
  • A significant and proven experience in in-house recruitment with international exposure.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale recruitments (which includes excellent organisation skills and prioritisation).

  • Previous experience in the humanitarian and/or voluntary sector is a powerful asset.
  • Excellent command of English mandatory. Knowledge of French is a strong asset.
