Evaluation of Host Communities Critical Water Infrastructure Rehabilitation Program in Jordan

This evaluation, completed in November 2022, assessed the ICRC's programme to rehabilitate critical water infrastructure serving communities in Jordan. The evaluation assessed the programme as delivering value for money by comparing the investment amount against the savings by households of paying for water from trucks and the savings in operational costs by the water companies. The evaluation also identified the need for better monitoring and maintenance to ensure that efficiency gains are maintained and not lost over time.
