Women have suffered tremendously due to the conflict in South Sudan that is well into its third year. After a brief period of hope for full-blown peace, a recent flare-up in violence has made matters worse than ever for women, driving them once again into displaced camps.
Although hunger is a problem, they dare not leave the camps in search of food for their children, as this makes them a target for rape. Listen to their stories of the daily struggle for survival. These women inspire us.
