Thousands of people in Syria are living with disabilities, and the fighting of the last four years has added to their number. Physical rehabilitation facilities in Syria are over whelmed with people in need of their services. The ICRC has just recently opened its own physical rehabilitation centre in the war-torn city of Aleppo. Amina is one patient who has benefited from our services. She is relieved to be able to walk again and is learning to cope with her disability.
