Main responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, implement, and supervise activities related to Economic Security, including multidisciplinary assessments, relief and livelihood support interventions, and capacity building
  • Undertake agricultural assessment in selected areas of operation and design agricultural programs based on the findings
  • Design and deliver training modules for farmers (sustainable agricultural practices and organic farming)
  • Provide expertise and technical support on agriculture to the other members of the EcoSec team

Required profile

  • Bachelor's degree in agronomy or agriculture; Master of Agriculture major in Agronomy is preferred
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience in implementing agricultural programs
  • Previous working experience with an International Non-Government Organization is an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in organic farming
  • Experience in conducting capacity building trainings to farmers and communities
  • Good knowledge of Mindanao's geography
  • Willingness to work and travel to different areas for several weeks
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Tagalog, Bisaya and Maguindanao
